Nudgy is designed as a local-first productivity app. This page explains what the app stores, what it does not store, and how reminder and analytics behavior is intended to work.

1. What Nudgy is

Nudgy is an iPhone task and focus app built to support low-friction planning, gentle streaks, and visible progress, especially for users who want structure without punitive patterns.

2. Information stored in the app

Nudgy may store the following information on your device:

  • Task titles and optional notes you create.
  • Optional task metadata such as category, due date, repeat rule, and bucket assignment.
  • Completion history used for streaks, awards, and completed-task views.
  • Focus session logs and goal settings.
  • Reminder preferences, such as whether reminders are enabled and what time you selected.

3. Local-first storage

The product is intended to work without requiring an account or cloud sync for core MVP functionality. Based on the current app design, task titles and notes stay on the device rather than being collected as remote user content.

4. Analytics and diagnostics

Nudgy does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting services. The app does not send task titles, notes, completion history, focus records, device identifiers, or usage events to the publisher or a third-party service.

5. Notifications

Nudgy can schedule one quiet local reminder per day if you enable that setting. Notifications depend on the permissions you grant on your device. You can disable reminders in the app or through iOS settings at any time.

6. Data sharing

The intended MVP product design does not require selling your personal information or sharing task content with third parties for advertising.

7. Data retention and deletion

Because core productivity data is designed to remain on your device, removing the app from your device may remove locally stored app data, subject to how iOS handles local application storage and backups.

8. Children’s privacy

Nudgy is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through required accounts or public social features in the MVP experience.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the product changes. If app behavior materially changes, this page should be revised before release.
